The Climate Control Centre (also called: Cold Cavern Climate Control Centre or acronyms 'CCCCC' or C5 for short) is the heart of your operations within the Cold Caverns. All T4 machines will require this machine to be built and powered in order to work properly.
Warning: Building this machine will activate the CryoPlasm enemy!
Construction[edit | edit source]
The Climate Control Centre must be built in a 5x7x5 pattern, somewhere within the Cold Caverns. the C5 also disables all threat reducers from working
Important: Once placed it can't be dug up, so caution is advised when building it.
Terraforming[edit | edit source]
Uses[edit | edit source]
This machine must be active for all T4 machines to work. If the CPH on the surface gets destroyed or the Climate Control Centre is no longer supplied with enough power, all T4 machines including CryoPlasm defenses will go offline.
Cryoplasm[edit | edit source]
Once this machine has been placed, the CryoPlasm within the Cold Cavern will awaken and slowly move towards it. The Climate Control Centre will give a visual indicator where CryoPlasm has been detected and give information how far away it is.
Materials[edit | edit source]
Each recipe will craft 5x components,175 needed in total, requiring 35 uses of the recipes to make the C5.
Tips[edit | edit source]
- It is advised that players destroy all 4 OverMinds before building the C5. This allows all the power used in defending the CPH and powering the Orbital Energy Transmitter to be used for the C5 and T4.
- The player should be prepared before building the C5, a large amount of Alloyed Machine Blocks and Refined Liquid Resin are needed for the machines that mine and process T4 ores.
