The Trencher Drill is a 3x3x3 mining drill that needs to be built in front of the Trencher Motor in order to work.
Its mining speed is determined by how many ore blocks it has contact with. In order to maximise the speed it is recommended to find a flat 3x3 area on the ore deposit or by using NanoDisintegrators to create one.
Unlike the drill heads used by the Ore Extractor the Trencher Drill will not lose durability.
This machine currently does not require an active Climate Control Centre in order to work.
MK1[]
The MK1 trencher drill is the first multiple-use drill that is capable of mining T4 ores. It has a 5% efficiency when mining T4 ores. It also has an 80% efficiency when mining T1 ores, 67.5% when mining T2 and 55% when mining T3.

MK2[]
The MK2 trencher drill further increases the efficiency of the trencher. It gives a 25% efficiency when mining T4 ores. It is 100% efficient when mining T1 ores, making it a unlimited durability Plasma Imbued Cutter Head. It has an 87.5 efficiency rating when mining T2 and 80% on T3

MK3[]
The MK3 trencher drill increases the efficiency of the drill to 100%. At 810 ores per a minute this drill is only 20% slower at the same efficiency than a ore extractor with a Plasma Imbued Cutter Head however it requires no additional items added to it after creation besides power to function.
